Gaps in Technical Assistance
22 December, 2016
Major gaps in Technical Assistance have been identified in ALL districts. Partners are highly encouraged to seriously look within at how they can best cover gaps, in particular in terms of expanding to cover a full VDC rather than only supporting some wards, and to consider the quality of the TA being delivered. The NRA has stated that project approvals can easily be amended in order to support expanded coverage, and has requested that POs take the necessary steps to reduce duplications and to cover gaps.
Four maps have been produced to highlight the gaps and coverage in Technical Assistance activities.
- Technical Assistance: Activity Analysis (as of 25 Dec 2016)
- Technical Assistance: Areas with No Technical Assistance with Damage Overlay (as of 25 Dec 2016)
- Technical Assistance: Vocational Training Coverage (as of 25 Dec 2016)
- Technical Assistance: Short Training Coverage (as of 25 Dec 2016)
Following the technical session on technical assistance on 2 December, HRRP is developing minimum requirements for Technical Assistance. POs are requested to provide feedback, either generally or with specific reference to the discussion paper available here, to HRRP team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
